Set Your Public Profile

This keeps your phone number private when connecting with new people.

Go to: Profile Avatar > Settings > Profile Avatar > @ or Username

People will see your public profile name once they add you.

Set Your Username

Restrict who can find you.

Go to: Profile Avatar > Settings > Privacy > Phone Number

Who Can See My Number: Select “Nobody” to hide from everyone—except people who have you in their contacts.

Who Can Find Me By Number: Select “Nobody” if you want to hide from everyone.

Protect Your Privacy

Share a link or QR code to easily invite trusted people to chat with you on Signal.

Go to: Profile Avatar > Settings > Profile Avatar > QR Code or Link

Minimize your exposure if an untrusted person gains access to your device.
